Summer Speech Homework

May 20, 2011

Dear Parents,

Your child has made awesome progress in speech this year!  We have loved working with them and look forward to seeing them next year!

We are posting summer calendars of speech activities for all three summer months.  Please work with your child on these activities to help them maintain their good speech skills over the summer.

We know that summer is a busy time for families but we are asking that you practice with them at least 3 times a week.  Your participation in these activities will greatly benefit your child and help to speed up the remediation process.

We are offering incentives to your child to motivate them to participate in summer homework.  If your child is able to practice (at least 3 days a week) they will be rewarded with a treat at the beginning of the school year.  Please return the SPEECH SUMMER SIGNATURE SHEET portion of this post, at the beginning of the school year, indicating whether or not they were able to complete the homework packet.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me over the summer at jalizabeth.hamberlin@nebo.edu!

Thanks for all you do!
